96 pages with CD. This play and text book with CD is the resuming literature to the fundamental Djembé text book with CD von Ursula Branscheid: Djembé, free play on the Djembé as musical expression means (LEU publishing house). When the Djembé came to europe, she was played at first almost exclusively with their-same and/or the appropriate bass drums. Increasingly however Djembégroups begin to take individual melody instruments in addition and ever more Djembéplayers act in volume of most diverse music styles. The Djembé offers deep basses just like high shrills to sounds in an instrument. Quietly easily quasi than sound carpet, the drum sounds just as good as loud, if it stands in the foreground. These facts almost predestine the Djembé to function in a musical context as addition or every now and then also as replacement for the drumset or other proven rhythm instruments which usually rhythmic yardsticks in the different styles set, the St IL unmistakably make.In this book are now different possibilities to be pointed out, how we can take over these rhythm structures and/or which (Begleit to)Rhythmen in which musical situation and instrument constellation fit with the Djembé. The CD examples are to obtain an impression of the sound. Also for players of other percussion instruments the Play Along is suitable, since all percussion and impact things voices can be faded out and replaced by own. For pure Djembé groups there is a set of tips, exercises and arrangement ideas in the first chapter. Subsequently, suggestions follow, how one can integrate one or more melody instruments. A short chapter dedicates itself to the company of African dance. In the last two chapters it concerns, what and how one can play in differently music styles with the Djembé; thus the book is also a small reference book for rhythms in the different styles. In "correct" volume then in addition, phenomena emerge, with which the Djembé player normally did not concern himself before: to play e.g. over a form to accompany soloists meaningful etc.. There are exercises in addition in the respective chapter. There is still much to discover
